Yeah I hear that, I’m thinking specifically copper, iron, coal, gold, emerald, diamond, lapis, redstone, and amythest (as well as netherite or nether quartz but I don’t think that would matter)

For me the shelf part matters because it’s not just about getting the minerals, you have to make the choice to strip and craft the 6 logs. In the early game that might mean either putting it off or allocating wood elsewhere for other goals, and for mid game it rewards someone planning ahead before they go ocean exploring or caving. Essentially it’s easy enough to do that you could just say the shelf doesn’t matter but I think it adds a smidge of decision making that could be interesting for an otherwise easier goal

i'd assume minerals would count as items you can use as armour trim colours

i kind of like the idea of having a goal based on them, especially that isnt just trim goal but slightly different

this would also count resin brick as the only different which wont matter majority of the time because you need nighttime for resin anyway

i dont know about everyone else but 90% of the time i wont go for 4 saplings without moss so i would say its harder
