It would be epic and awesome if there was a way to turn off chat in matches (specifically from the other player not advancements). Being able to turn off chat, hide opponent name/rank, and elo gain/loss is all in ranked and would be a great addition to draftout :D

yeah highkey don't need someone complaining about how they got unlucky after beating them

I think all privacy options that are available in ranked should be available in draftout too. They are not just beneficial for your own privacy, they are also important for maintaining mental in a game where mental is so important.

yeah theres no reason these things shouldnt be in the game some people might not want chat with their opponents im surprised this hasnt been added

I mean draftout still in beta this basic stuff will come with time

it would also be nice to have the ability to hide your own name as a supporter feature or something

Definitely, although I feel like at some lvl, it’s interesting to know who you’re queueing because you start to know your opp habits and play accordingly
pinkpufflast week
exactly why they should be hidable imo
Snakezylast week
obviously there's some advantage to knowing who your opponent is but some people would prefer to be able to not know and it should be an option
Maloxlast week
Yeah that’s why adding it as an on/off feature would be nice

i think this would be toeing p2w, not being able to strategize around your playstyle hurts your opponent's odds of winning

toggle to hide opp's name is fine ofc cause if anything you're nerfing yourself

like if i queue an anonymous player and draft Enter End because i know sheetless, but my opponent is actually infume

How so? Hiding your name and having the opp's name hidden from you equally affects both sides?
GracefulBeauty7 days ago
the information is not symmetrical
GracefulBeauty7 days ago
let's say i'm a player with a very balanced/average skillset
GracefulBeauty7 days ago
and my opponent is a player with a very skewed skillset (like someone with 6 years of mcsr experience)
GracefulBeauty7 days ago
then their name being hidden hides a ton of information, my name being hidden doesn't hide much information
GracefulBeauty7 days ago
but also
GracefulBeauty7 days ago(edited)
i was specifically talking about being able to hide your name from your opponent while still being able to see their name
tjthings7 days ago
Oh I always assumed you need to hide opp to hide your own name from opp
tjthings7 days ago
But you also don't know if you're playing mongey or like someone who plays heavy into trial chamber as the one hiding opp's name

yea this should 100% be a feature, and a base game one for sure

hiding yourself won't be a feature, but hiding your opponents probably will
