More specifically, if Player 2 is disconnected when Player 1 hits the forfeit timeout, the game should result in a +0/+0 draw instead of a loss for Player 2.
This should mitigate most issues on the player end with server downtimes, especially when an early-season voided game could drastically affect someone's placement if voided 2-3 weeks after the fact in the current system.

Early in the match a +/- 0 draw would be really nice for when one player just can't play for whatever reason, but doesn't want to take elo from the one who can

One of my last games I disconnected 5+ times during the draft phase, almost every single goal on my side was auto drafted. A few minutes into the match I got kicked and had to reauthenticate, so had to take a world reset.
I got +9 rating because my opponent was nice, but some people might not want to willingly lose rating when it isn't their fault their opponent can't play.

tbh i have yet to be convinced that a draw should ever cost you elo. i feel like it kinda defeats the point. maybe if it was only ever like -3 but i just dont see why it should be punishing at all.
